Mainly you need an inquiring mind and a sense of adventure. However, the following are important too;

• Access to a computer. While Egregore happens in real life a lot of the communication and record keeping occurs online. You need regular access to a computer with an email account. Any way of accessing the internet that you can carry around, whether a phone, laptop or other device, is really useful but not required.
• Facebook account. Again, this is not needed but it is useful. Facebook is an easy way to find and communicate with other players. However, we strongly suggest that you set your privacy settings so that your home address and phone number are hidden. You might even want to set up a separate account for your Egregore character to hide your real name.
• Camera. In order to attune to nodes and accomplish some other goals you have to send pictures to the judge. A cell phone with a camera or a digital camera both work well. If you don't have either you can usually find used digital cameras online or at a hock shop for around $20. If you insist on using a film camera you can send in normal photographs through the mail.
